Federal Road Safety 2022/2023 Recruitment: This is the application procedure
Application Procedure:
The application procedure is simple. Click the Register Button on the top right corner of the page to register (without registration you can’t see the position). Then, you are required to have the following available for registration (Passport-sized photograph with CV in pdf or word format (Not more than 2 pages and 600kb). Then, complete the registration form – make sure you fill the registration form.
After registration, you will be required to activate your account by clicking on the link sent to your email. Then, Log in with your email and password. And, carefully read the job description and requirements then click the apply button for your preferred position. Then, provide correct information for all fields, upload your passport photograph and CV then click the submit button.
An email would be sent to you confirming the success of your submission.
Any developments in respect to your application would be communicated to you.

Academic Qualifications:
For Officer:
- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institution of higher learning in Medicine
- NYSC Discharge Certificate
- Candidates must not be more than 30 years of age.
Academic Qualification for Officer Cadre:
Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institution of higher learning in any of the following disciplines; Law, Medicine, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Laboratory Science, Psychology, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Insurance/Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Information and Communication Technology, Physical and Health Education, Accounting, Management Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Mass Communication, Social Sciences and Humanities.
- NYSC Discharge Certificate, and must not be more than 30 years of age.
- Academic Qualification for Marshal Inspector:
- Higher National Diploma (HND) from recognized Institutions, NYSC Discharge Certificate.
- Registered Nurse (RN) and Registered Midwife (RM), Nurses in the following areas can also apply; Anesthetics Nurse, Theatre Nurse, Orthopedic Nurse, Dental Nurse, Psychiatric Nurse, Accident and Emergency Nurse.
- Statement of Result not beyond 5 years
- Applicants should not be more than 30 years old.
Academic Qualification for Artisans and Tradesmen:
- A minimum of 4 passes in SSCE (WAEC/NECO) or NABTEB.
- Trade Test and or other professional Certificates.
- Drivers and Riders must have the appropriate class of Driver’s License.
- Candidates must not be more than 27 years of age.
Academic Qualification for Road Marshal Assistant:
Minimum of three (3) credits in SSCE (WAEC/NECO) or NABTEB, one of the credits must be in English Language.
Candidates must not be more than 27 years of age.

FRSC advises that before you start your application process, you need to go through the following requirement list to know what you will need. That is to enable you complete your application form successfully:
RMA CADRE:
a. Road Marshal Assistant I
Qualifications
i. Junior Community Health Extension Worker (JCHEW).
ii. Statement of Result not beyond 5years.
b. Road Marshal Assistant II
Qualifications Minimum of five (5) credits in SSCE (GCE/WAEC/NECO/NABTEB) which must include English Language and Mathematics.
c. Road Marshal Assistant III
Qualifications Minimum of three (3) credits in SSCE (GCE/WAEC/NECO/NABTEB).
Artisans and Tradesmen
Artisans and Tradesmen may apply under this category. Those applying for the posts of Computer Operators, Drivers, Mechanics, Motorcycle Riders, Electricians, Instrumentalists, Tailors, Plumbers, Sportsmen etc must possess the following:
i. A minimum of 4 passes in SSCE (GCE/WAEC/NECO/NABTEB).
ii. Trade Test and or other professional Certificates.
iii. Drivers and Riders must have the appropriate class of Driver’s Licence.
MI CADRE:
a. Marshal Inspector I
Qualifications
Applicants must possess the following from recognized institutions:
i. Double qualification RN/RM, Accident & Emergency Nurses, Pediatric Nurses, Anesthetic Nurses, Orthopedic Nurses, Radiographic Nurses from recognized institutions.
ii. Statement of Result not beyond 5years.
b. Marshal Inspector II
Qualifications
Applicants must possess the following from recognized institutions:
i. Nigerian Certificate of Education (NCE) in relevant disciplines.
ii. Registered Nurse/Midwife (RN/RM).
iii. Statement of Result not beyond 5years.
c. Marshal Inspector III
Qualifications
Applicants must possess the following from recognized institutions:
i. National Diploma (ND)/ Senior Community Health Extension Workers Certificate (CHEW) .
ii. Statement of Result not beyond 5years.
OFFICER CADRE:
Qualification:
Candidates must possess the following:
i. First Degree/HND from recognized Institutions of learning.
ii. NYSC Discharge Certificate/Exemption Certificate.

GENERAL CONDITIONS:
Computer literacy and possession of valid National Driver’s License shall be an added advantage for all cadres.
Any certificate or qualification not declared or tendered and accepted at the time of recruitment cannot be presented subsequently for career progression in the Corps.
- Applicants be Nigerians by birth.
- Applicants must be medically fit and must produce a certificate of medical fitness from a government-hospital.
- And those applying must not be less than 18 years or more than 30 years of age. However, 35-years will be considered for Medical Doctors and Articulated Vehicle Drivers.
- All applicants must be single.
- Applicants height must not be less than 1.7 metres for male and 1.64 metres for female.
- Medical and Allied professionals must possess current practicing licenses. And, Lawyers must’ve been called to Bar.
- Male applicants must have a fully expanded chest measurement of not less than 0.87metres.
- Applicants be free from any form of financial embarrassment. And, be of good character and must not’ve been convicted of any criminal offence.
